Description
A wig cap is a stretchy cap that fits over your head to keep your natural hair in place. Unless you have a shaved head, you will find wearing a wig easier and more comfortable with a wig cap.
How to wear a wig cap:
Short hair: brush all of your hair towards the centre of your head; use a few dabs of gel to keep it in place if necessary. Stretch the wig cap over your head, with the edges running along your natural hair line. Tuck any loose hairs into the cap, and then put on your wig. You may choose to hold the wig in place with a couple of hair pins behind your ears and at the nap of your neck.
Long hair: Put your hair into two braids and arrange around the top-back of your head. Try to follow your natural head shape, and keep the braids as flat as pssible. Hold them in place with bobby pins. Stretch the wig cap over your head, with the edges running along your natural hair line. Tuck any loose hairs into the cap, and then put on your wig. You may choose to hold the wig in place with a couple of hair pins behind your ears and at the nap of your neck.
